I did talk to the midwife about me having some heart "palpitations"....for lack of a better word. She wasn't too concerned, but if they persisted she suggested I order a Holter monitor to see what is going on. I didn't think I should order one that day...but by the next day I changed my mind.
I have had a "racing heart" or "flip flopping" in my heart for a while. But, it has been few and far between. For the last week or so, it has been pretty much all day. It is more annoying than anything...it kind of feels like my heart is beating out of my chest. And when it is going on at the same time as Peyton sitting on my diaphragm...where it is hard to breathe/catch my breath...well, it is really annoying. I have only had one or two dizzy spells in the last week, where I felt like I was going to pass out, so that is good. But, I do get a "funny" feeling in my shoulders and neck when the heart palpitations are going on. And my ears sometime feel "warm". It is all a bit hard to explain.
So, I have an appointment Monday at the cardio office and I will wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours so they can see what is going on, if anything.
Another thing...my weight jumped considerably...well, not enough for the doc to mention, but enough for me to say...ok Kari, how much are you eating? And my belly was keeping about the same size as my other pregnancies, but now looking at pics...it has progressed quite a bit in the last couple of weeks.
I have had some trouble sleeping...lots of tossing and turning. And the dreams are just down right weird. I wake up wondering...what the heck? And I have had a lot of pelvic pressure and lower abdomen pressure. My body is just getting ready, but it seems like a lot of this should happen in the last month....not the last two months! Fun stuff. It will be a long summer;)

Wow, you really popped in the last three weeks! Looking good! Peyton will be here in no time!
I know! I hadn't realized I had "popped" so much. I am even quite a bit bigger than I was with Aydan at 33 weeks! No wonder I feel "so" pregnant;)
